Messi, always composed, initially tried to resolve it legally. He attempted to build a dividing wall between the properties to reduce the noise. Unfortunately, local building regulations shut down the plan. 

With his family’s well-being on the line and privacy disappearing fast, Leo made a bold, unspoken statement: he bought the entire house next door.

Reportedly spending around $3 million, Messi purchased the property—not out of extravagance, but out of a genuine desire to restore calm to his home life. It wasn’t about wealth or status—it was about peace.

“When Leo bought his house in Castelldefels, his neighbours were noisy, so he had to buy their house just to be alone with his family. Luckily, I never had those problems.”
