Futbol Club Barcelona are set to make audacious moves for RB Leipzig striker, Timo Werner, Arsenal striker, Pierre – Emerick Aubameyang and Inter Milan in form striker, Lautaro Martinez as replacements for club striker, Luiz Suarez who will be out for four months after an operation was performed on his right knee.

The reports coming out of Camp Nou have it that the club board and coaches have concluded plans to approach Timo Werner and Lautaro Martinez as a permanent replacement for Suarez while Barcelona wants Aubameyang on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.

Timo Werner who is 22 years old is one of the highly favored players to succeed Suarez once the player leaves Barcelona while Aubameyang’s services will only be needed until Suarez is fully fit and back on his feet to play again.

Werner who plays in the German League is the competition’s highest goal scorer along with Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandoski with 20 goals in 18 matches. The German striker is also linked to Chelsea and Liverpool.

Lautaro Martinez has been in fine form since joining Inter Milan and his partnership with Romelu Lukaku has seen the striker banging in goals for the Italian side which has caught the attention of Barcelona. Reports say that the Barca board are making moves to bring the Argentine striker to the Camp Nou next season.

Barcelona president, Josep Bartomeu stated that Barcelona need a temporary striker to fill the position of Suarez until his return and Gabon striker, Emerick Aubameyang has been spotted as the right player to sign for the main time and Barcelona are concluding plans to approach Arsenal; for a loan move for the former Borussia Dortmund striker.

Recall that Aubameyang was the highest goal scorer in the English Premier League last season along with fellow Africans and Liverpool forwards, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah. Aubameyang has this season netted 16 goals in 26 matches for the Gunners side.

Only time will tell if Barcelona will be able to sign both strikers or perhaps, only one of them will join the Catalan team.
