Barcelona’s away loss to Levante yesterday angered many twitter fans as the team has been poor away from home lately. The team’s shambolic display outside Camp Nou has been a thing of concern to all and sundry.
Knowingly fully well that the lack of good away performance by Barcelona led to the team’s quarterfinal elimination from the UEFA Champions League against Roma two seasons ago. Their unimpressive away display also saw Liverpool come back from a 0 – 3 loss in the first leg to win 4 – 3 on aggregate last season.
Fans are of the believe that head coach, Ernesto Valverde is responsible for the team’s poor away form. Many still wonder why Valverde is still the coach of the team as fans have been calling for his sack since the loss to Roma two seasons ago.
However, the board seems uninterested in the yearnings of fans having awarded him another three years contract, which angered the fans.
Fans still wonder what Valverde is doing as head coach of Barcelona as his style of play is not helping the team, rather, it is making the team lose quality and entertainment.
Below are some of the tweets by Barca fans who could not curtail their anger and disappointment at the team’s performance yesterday. While some were calling for Valverde’s sack, others were calling for the overhaul of the board.

Similarities between EV's Barça and Ravi Shastri's India apart from this photo?
– Both are absolute clowns when it comes to management
– Both teams supporting the coach as they're in comfort zone
– Both are mostly shit away from home
Have some shame ffs. pic.twitter.com/VCaN0tXNnb

Messi is the only reason why I sit down to watch 9other clowns for 90 mins every weekend (Stegen) excluded
If there was no Messi, I wouldn’t bother to watch this Barça team play.
Worst part is how I’ll still sit to watch ‘em play next week just cos of Messi
If that’s not love?

On a day when neither Messi nor Ter Stegen could save valverde, Barca lost as usual.
Mark my words, as long as Bartomeu and Valverde are still in Barca, the only meaningful trophy we'd get is La Liga.
Champions league is far from Barca.

Valverde’s the biggest villain Barcelona have since Franco.

Using semedo (natural Rb) as Lb sergi Roberto starting 😢
Sub our best Cm Arthur and put old busquets
Conceeded 3 goals in 8 minutes

I just want Barcelona to know that what they did at Anfield doesn't make sense and they really broke me and made me look stupid among my course mates and friends.
I won't forgive them.

Barcelona has lost as many games by the start of November as they lost the whole of last season and 3 times as much as the season before.
How is the football getting worse with the arrival of better players?
The constant Valverde.#ValverdeOut

Its SHAMEFUL to be a Barcelona fan at this moment
Only my love for Messi keeps mW interested in games now really
Imagine, even united and Chelsea play better football than we do currently. 🙆🙆

Barcelona Manager, Ernesto Valverde was asked if he'd resign after the game, he said "No, we'll keep doing what we've been doing…"
